EBEL is a Swiss watch company that was established in 1911. EBEL is an acronym for the co-founding male and female couple; Eugene Blum and Et Levy.
In the nearly 100 years of manufacture, EBEL has built and maintained its solid reputation for technical accuracy and reliability. EBEL evolved from a pocket watch company to design and provide wristwatches for the British Army during WWII. EBEL’s gents line is significant in that it is one of the few high-end Swiss companies that produce their own chronograph movements - and have for many years.
