Leslie is the daughter of a textile designer and herself a graduate of New York’s F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Technology). Her design inspirations come from historical architecture, scrolled antique carvings, century-old Victorian wallpaper and French or Italian fabrics that she finds when traveling abroad. Anything that has “old-world intricacy” is eye-catching to Leslie Greene. Every Leslie Greene piece has her signature curvy fretwork “lace,” highly textured to look like antique hand-beaded filigree work. Her jewelry is big, but not heavy.
