Its company founder, Alessandro Testi, is credited in creating Italy’s first-ever line of stainless steel jewelry. Testi accurately predicted an imminent crisis for the jewelry industry as the cost of gold escalated and wisely invested his design house’s money in researching the opportunites of stainless steel -long before anyone considered the metal’s versatility and use for upscale designer jewelry.
