Roberto Coin is a fine Italian jeweler located in Vicenza, Italy.
For many centuries, Vicenza has been known as “The City of Gold.”
In 1977, Roberto Coin worked as a metalsmith producing fine artisan pieces for luxury jewelers. After 20 years of producing other people’s designs, Roberto Coin’s experience and mature confidence lead him to create his own unique line of fine jewelry.

Roberto Coin’s signature trademark is a faceted red ruby, hidden away into the underside of every piece of jewelry he creates. This precious red ruby is placed where it will constantly touch the skin of its wearer and “its magical powers will bring happiness and good luck to her as soon as it touches her skin.” This enchanting and loving little talisman is not visible from any front view, but without its special Roberto Coin red ruby, no creation is complete. Without it, no creation is a Roberto Coin.

“Haute Couture” is Roberto Coin’s most substantial collection of fine diamond jewelry. His large scale diamond-encrusted settings have a superb modern Italian “feel” and luxuriousness. Roberto’s delicious white gold bangle, “Fantasia HC,” is completely covered in sparkling colorless diamonds and is a gorgeous example of Roberto Coin’s high-end Italian artisanship. Even its bangle’s inner surface is hand crafted; its timeless gothic-inspired circular motif is hand-cut and annealed out of solid 18k white gold. It is both beautiful and practical, as it allows light to pour through its diamonds for maximum sparkle.

Roberto Coin’s “Boutique” Collection reveals his true passion for Italian goldsmithing while it flaunts his expertise in manipulating precious metals. These large pieces feature elegant weaves of textured gold ribbons and seduce with beautiful Italian named-pieces like “Appasionata” and “Magnifica.”

Roberto Coin’s “Fashion Collection” includes “Per L’Amore,” an 18k yellow gold seven-strand necklace, with sixty baroque pearl-like gold beads. Also within this collection is an enameled family named “Vintage”; with fresh and colorful bracelets, earrings and matching rings. Another Roberto Coin family is named “Clair De Lune.” This series combines smooth modern designs with hand carved semi-precious stones uniquely integrated into their design.

Roberto Coin’s “Celebration” Collection is light-hearted and amusing. Roberto’s party wear theme includes a solid 18k white gold martini glass pendant, covered in sparkling diamonds. Its eye-catching design is artistically complete with one large shiny green-enameled olive poked through by an 18k yellow gold “toothpick,” further dotted with diamonds.

Last but not least is Roberto Coin’s “Only For U.S.A.” Collection. These unique diamond pendants are only available within the United States. Roberto Coin whimsically turned 20th Century American pop culture icons in fine 18k gold pendants and covered each one of them with precious ring-quality VS/GH diamonds.

Several of Roberto Coin’s most popular “Tiny Treasure” pendants are: Peace Symbol, Wish Bone, Question Mark, and Skull and Cross Bones. (Mrs. Markham wears that one and loves it!)

Roberto Coin also designed a series of animal-themed pendants.
There are multiple different designs for an Equestrian, dog lover, or Sea-Loving Lady to chose from (Star Fish, Saltwater Fish, Lobster, Crab and Sea Horse). Several more of these designs have alternating jet-black sapphires added to them. Roberto Coin excitedly used the finest black sapphires to adorn his Panda Bear and Penguin, but also used them to decorate his Elephant’s Tusk and Sea Turtle’s shell.
